Rust
Purchased a pair of headlamps from a swop meet back in March.I sanded off the chrome and put them out in the garden to rust. After a few months all I could see was a few spots of rust.I have heard of a quick rusting method by mixing Hydrogen Peroxide- white vinegar (equal measures) and a pinch of salt. Well I tried it, and after 25mins and a couple more coats of the magic mix (used a hand sprayer) The pictures below tell the rest of the story.
